Amber was featured and recognized as a freelance writer in Metromode along side highly respected and experienced freelance writers, journalists and photographers in the Metro Detroit area.
Amber has spearheaded an annual 5K run for Foster Care Awareness Month in May through a non-profit organization (Forever-Families) that is a foster care and adoption agency. She annually develops and implement marketing plans and materials for the race. She coordinates race logistics, publicity, including public relations, advertising and collateral material design, production and distribution. She also manages all aspects of volunteer committees and volunteer coordination, including but not limited to, staffing, recruitment, supervision and training.
Amber been Media Coordinator for the Detroit's 6th Annual "Dilla Youth Day" located at the Charles H. Wright Museum. She was in charge of greeting all media representatives as they arrived to the event. Also running and updating all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) throughout the day. She was also responsible for taking pictures and videos of the event.
